One Year/100% Guarantee -- Take up to One Year to decide if you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not 100% satisfied, your purchase may be returned for a full refund or credit for an exchange. The piece must be in its original condition and able to be resold. Some limitations apply (to protect against internet fraud). Please see my "Returns" policy below.
Lifetime Framing Warranty -- All materials used in the matting and framing of my pieces are archival and of the highest quality. The utmost care is taken during assembly. Bad things, however, can and do sometimes happen. If your piece were to get damaged as a result of my framing, contact me and a damage assessment will be made. It will be either re-framed or replaced free of charge upon return of the damaged original. This warranty applies to every piece I frame and is not transferable to other third-party frames or framing. Please see my "Returns" policy below.
Any third-party alterations, modifications, re-matting, or re-framing voids all warranties.

All shipping & handling costs are the responsibility of the sender. Shipping costs are not refundable. All shipments must be insured and traceable.
All policies subject to change at any time without notice.
Framing
I frame my prints using black metal frames and UV-filtering acrylic glazing. The frames are approximately 1-inch wide with an elegant Florentine finish as seen below.

Technical Info
Prints
I make archival pigment ink prints on 100% acid-free paper. I am currently using an Epson 4880 printer using Epson Ultrachrome K3 Vivid Magenta archival pigment inks on Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk. I individually hand-sign each print. Individual prints are open edition. Prints are matted with Bainbridge archival white mats. Each piece carries a Certificate of Authenticity label on the back of the mat. All materials used (photographic, matting, and framing) are archival and of the highest quality.
Process
Images are captured digitally, and then processed and printed to the best of my abilities. I make contrast, color, and tone adjustments to clarify my vision of the image. Pixel cloning is generally reserved for dust on the sensor or lens. If, however, I see something in the image that I didn't notice on the day (a piece of trash for instance) and, if I had seen it, would have removed it before clicking the shutter, then I may clone it out of the image.
I am not trying to fabricate a fantastic image that doesn't exist in realty. My goal is to distill all my thoughts and feelings when I composed the shot in the camera into the final image. The camera records what it sees, not what I see; not what I feel. The final image will represent experience.
Ansel Adams is often quoted, "The negative is comparable to the composer's score and the print to its performance. Each performance differs in subtle ways." Just as with audio recordings and film and video, digital printing techniques have changed the nature of distribution of these performances. Multiple copies of the digital master-file can be printed and distributed, duplicating what was once a single performance. That being said, occasionally my interpretation of an image may change — a new live concert, if you will. If and when this happens, the image will be updated on this site to reflect that change.
