I continually find myself drawn to these scenes. What at a distance seems like scum floating on the surface of the water turns out to be a delicate foam rippling in the currents. This image was made late in the day with the sun streaming through the trees; the shadows further abstracting the patterns on the water. The combination of these endless patterns of foam and shadow, and the reflections of the sky and clouds kept me busy for the better part of a hour. Everywhere I looked I saw a new composition. I tried to think as little as possible during the moment, letting intuition guide me. After a long review process I finally settled on this particular image, with it's simple gesture and small hits of blue sky, as the best representation of how I felt at the time.

Matting & Framing: Each piece is matted using Bainbridge archival white mats. It can also be framed in a black metal frame that has an elegant Florentine finish. I use UV-filtering acrylic glazing. All materials are archival.

Shipping: All orders include free shipping. Every shipment is insured at it's full value and is traceable. All packages are professionally assembled in such a manor as to avoid damage during shipping. If for some reason your piece does get damaged, contact me and return the damaged original. Your piece will be replaced immediately at no extra cost.
